Welcome to the two-Max-plans-in-30-hours club, we have jackets. Do the auto-compact change first, it takes a minute. Tell me how far your limits stretch after a week?

There is a question related to this topic and that is what is the difference in Claude different effort models. Like are they just gimmicks that make us "feel" that high effort is being put or it does really makes a difference?
Ha, I skipped effort levels on purpose, this one was all about where the tokens leak. Fair question though. Have you seen a real difference on high, or just slower answers?
Not in the video, so it asks instead

That loop engineering part looks interesting. Am on the Claude pro 5x plan, so naturally usage limits hit faster than yours, especially before opus 5.5 (which is more token efficient). I used to use the handover Md doc files for Claude and start new sessions whenever I felt like Claude was eating up too much usage or the Convo was getting too long. Didn't look deep enough to know bout changing the default compaction size tho. Will come in handy too. Read more
Handover docs were my fix too, until I saw auto-compact defaults to 1 million tokens. Drop it to 250k first, it's the easiest win. The loop steps are on Contextli's website and take about five minutes.

This video helped a lot. I myself have noticed Claude having weird usage limits lately. They are probably planning to introduce a $500 plan similar to OpenAI
Funny thing, the limits haven't changed. Boris confirmed it. About 70% of my tokens were just Claude rereading the chat. What tooling are you plugging the loop into?

@notimpressed_dev
bro really made a whole video to say "start a new chat", groundbreaking
Ha, new chats were my fix too, right up until I found 70% of my tokens going to Claude rereading itself. Dropping auto-compact from 1 million to 250k did more. What's your record before the limit hits?
From 1:02, 1:45 and 1:57
It works where you already answer comments: in YouTube Studio and under your videos.
